For our leg back
"home" to Crisfield, we awoke to a healthy NW breeze.
I had some vague hopes that the wind inside the
channels would be stronger than out on the open Bay,
the way it often is when the wind funnels along the
shore in Toronto, but we could not of course rely on
such a hope. The good news was that the wind direction
would let us sail under jib alone, if need be. And
Hans and I were happy to demonstrate our Ken
Jensen-inspired trysail once again. - click here for

comfortably and speedily under jib alone as we proceeded

Chuck and Cathy
indeed, felt so comfortable out there that they added
most of their main. - click here for larger image ............ |
