Tom Goldsmith, arrived with a lovely, airy, homemade boom tent which he promptly proceeded to instal. ...... |

The boom tent
worked very well, even letting through a refreshing
spray during a midnight downpour on a very hot night
with temperatures well into the 80s. Nonetheless, this
would be the only night's use the tent would get as
Tom felt so claustrophobic with his head towards the
bow, that he spent most of the night sleeping in his
car. Al's problem was a major sunburn from Saturday's
Tangier-Crisfield sail. So, when Tom suggested shore
accommodations, Al was all for it and that ended up
working out very well!!!
