The day's plan was to get
around the point and up the river to Whitehaven. But Dick was keen to
show us the ... museum at Tyaskin about half a mile north of Cedar Hill
first. Dick, Richard and ... duly set off but by the time Tom and Al
made it out of the harbour, there was still not much wind and only
about 90 minutes of favourable tide to go. After 1500 hrs our beat into
the light breeze would become uptide as well as upwind.
