First item on
Saturday's agenda was a brief visit with Joy Phillips to borrow some
slides to scan as illustrations of Joy's 1973 log Round
Georgian Bay. Joy and her
late husband, Alan (painting above) were legendary W cruisers in
the 70's whose exploits included some daunting adventures on cold and
nasty Lake Superior.
