Paddlewheel in Crisfield still exists...Preliminary recon concluded yesterday. Winds too strong to venture out to Smith, interesting area, Janes Island visited.

Just refamiliarized myself with Whiffle, if you're looking for pix, here's some more from very recent 3-day trip. Just checking general lay of the land, including Janes Island State Park, which is semi-closed until 25 March, but one can still launch there. Very interesting area, plan to return very soon. Spring is on here, sailing quite reasonable, though the winds are frequently strong, and water too cold to risk a capsize, my opinion only. Water deserted, nobody out.

Our next goal is to trailer directly to Onancock, hopefully this week, but there's this snow thing predicted for tomorrow and forward. Bleah!!
