Our beloved
friend and
dedicated
Wayfarer
sailor, Mike
Murto, died
November 28, 2015
after fighting
cancer for
over a year.
Wayfarers around the world know Mike as a
co-founder of our treasured Wayfarer Midwinters
along with Bob Brown. Many Florida Wayfarers
got into
sailing
through boats
that Mike
brought south and rehabilitated. All of us were
encouraged by Mike, no matter how bad we were when
we started.
Mike was truly the soul of the Lake Eustis fleet
and
will be greatly missed. |
