Sailing
History: Started sailing at the age of 16. Enjoyed team
racing whilst at university, winning BUSA and runner up in the Wilson
Trophy. Sailed a variety of boats before retiring, only to be dragged
back to sailing by my kids (14 years ago). Bought my first Wayfarer
(Gandalf) to go to the pub before buying Doubloons in 1997. |
Sailing History: Started sailing at about age of 8. Happy both crewing and helming and have raced numerous classes including 420, Albacore, Laser 4000. Runner up in the Wayfarer 2003 Nationals (helming) and success in the Albacore crewing for a well-known sail maker. |
When
not sailing: Gasman
(although not strictly Corgi registered!) Fanatical skier and still trying to keep ahead of my kids usually whilst scaring myself with off piste guides. Also enjoys windsurfing but only when conditions are perfect and in warm water! |
When
not sailing: Aspiring
entrepreneur and will probably end up running a used car lot. Graduated from Exeter University in Accounting and Finance 2001. Currently working for Aviva managing the interface between Norwich Union Insurance and NU’s insurance intermediaries. Passionate about skiing and fast cars! |
Family: Wife Lindsay, sons Robin (26) and Alister (23), daughter Nicky (20), two cocker spaniels Bill (2) and Ben (1) | Family: Work in progress |
