Bunny and The Five-Cow Lady both
start
on port tack with Lady about five lengths
to leeward and ahead of Bunny
as
shown in the first diagram on the left. |

As they pass
the Committee
boat, Lady is informed by the RC that she
was over early. She tacks and calls “Starboard” on Bunny.
The latter has heard the recall message and tells Lady
she has no rights. Lady bears away to
avoid
the collision but protests. |
