in light winds, Able Mabel (windward) and
Lucky Luke (leeward) are bow to bow (see diagram) less than a
boatlength from
the mark. Abel Mabel has asked for room
to pass
the mark but Lucky Luke refuses, saying
that mark room does not apply at the windward mark. Abel
Mabel finally forces room, colliding with both Lucky
Luke and the mark. There is no damage to
either
boat but Luke and Mabel both protest. |
