A
fine Wayfarer present! ... Lee Hughes' account of his 2003 journey up the US east coast, The Biggest Boat I Could Afford, is an outstanding addition to any sailor's library! Lee has a light-hearted way with words that is music to my ears. When Marc and I got together with Lee on our way to the Midwinters in Feb. 2003, we met a unique, interesting and charming person. And he writes even better! The Biggest Boat I Could Afford is - in my opinion - a book that both sailors and non-sailors who have a sense of humour and adventure will enjoy. The fact that it is built around a Wayfarer is an added bonus for us Wayfarer sailors! Lee's book is now available through amazon.com |
