Uncle Al (sticker on
forehead and
still trying to work his drunken camera) had the good fortune to share
a table where Poul Ammentorp provided after-dinner music of a type not
heard in the better restaurants. I still have - for example - many of
that
night's verses of Roll Me Over in the Clover on tape and play
it
on the car stereo when I'm in poor spirits and need a real lift - the
international
brotherhood of lechery!

By 3 a.m. only a few of us
were
left to keep the VSK open and somewhat alive. And to think that Uncle
Al
needed to get up at 5:15 a.m. to get to his flight back to Canada. If
Martha
hadn't bashed on the camper door at 5:30, Uncle Al would still
be
in Denmark - something he could likely live with quite well!!
